Privacy Policy

Note: This is a starter template, not legal advice. Have a lawyer review the final wording before publishing — especially for GDPR-regulated markets (EU, EEA, UK).
Who we are
This site is operated by Zapolu (the “Company”). If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hello@zapolu.com.
What data we collect
We collect only what we need:
- Contact form submissions. When you send us a message, we receive your name, email address, and the contents of your message. This is processed on the legal basis of pursuing your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) / (f)).
- Anti-bot challenge. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to filter spam. It does not set cookies and does not track you across sites.
- Analytics. We use a privacy-friendly analytics provider that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully GDPR-compliant. No consent banner is required.
What we don’t collect
- We do not use Google Analytics, Meta pixels, or any other cross-site tracker.
- We do not set advertising or marketing cookies.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
How long we keep your data
- Contact form submissions are retained for 24 months from the date of receipt, then deleted, unless an ongoing business relationship requires longer retention.
- Anti-bot challenge results are processed by Cloudflare in real time and not retained by us.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion
- Object to processing
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@zapolu.com.
Service providers
We rely on the following third-party services. Each handles your data under its own privacy policy:
- Cloudflare (hosting, Turnstile anti-bot) — Privacy Policy
- Formspree (contact form delivery) — Privacy Policy
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent changes were made.
